The Braveheart 5km Run 2022 will take place on Friday 10th June at the Porchfields, Trim.

 Since its inception in 2010 the race which is organised by Trim Athletic Club has grown into one of the most popular events in the local running calendar. 

 The location and route of the race along the banks of the historic river Boyne is a run back through history. It takes the runners among one of the finest collections of medieval monuments in Ireland.  The friendly atmosphere and excellent post race hospitality combined with good organisation the host club enhances the experience for participants.

Since our first race in 2010 the race has enjoyed generous sponsorship of numerous local businesses. We will be publishing this years sponsor list in the coming weeks. This level of participant support and commercial/community sponsorship is greatly appreciated by the club as it enables the club to put on a top class event for runners which brings ever increasing numbers each year. It also helps the club provide for its younger members and contribute to the wider community through our charity partnerships.
